Liquigas Malta Ltd is the island nation’s foremost supplier of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG). We supply cylinders for domestic use, bulk LPG for commercial and industrial customers, and autogas for vehicle fuelling.

As a member of the SHV Energy Group — one of the world’s largest LPG distributors — we operate to the highest international standards of safety, quality, and customer service, adapted for the unique needs of Malta and Gozo.

70 Years of Progress

  • 1955

    Foundation

    Liquigas Malta was founded, beginning the supply of LPG gas to Maltese households.

  • 1968

    National Expansion

    Distribution network expanded to cover all of Malta and Gozo, serving thousands of families.

  • 1979

    Commercial Division

    Launched commercial and industrial bulk supply services for hotels, restaurants, and factories.

  • 1993

    Autogas Launch

    Introduced autogas fuel, offering an affordable and eco-friendly vehicle fuel alternative.

  • 2005

    SHV Energy Partnership

    Became part of SHV Energy, one of the world’s largest distributors of LPG.

    Safety Standards

    Achieved ISO certification and introduced advanced cylinder safety testing protocols.
